SALIS FAQ

SALIS is not insurance and does not custody funds. Users keep control of wallets and approve transactions directly.

Provider discovery pages are public. Private booking, wallet, dashboard, settlement, and account flows require the app experience and appropriate permissions.

Care Trust Layers describe verified care activity. They are not rankings, star ratings, credentials, or platform endorsements.

Do providers pay a monthly subscription to use SALIS? No. Providers do not pay a recurring monthly subscription to maintain their core SALIS presence. Providers can create or claim a profile, list their services and service details, and remain discoverable without taking on another fixed monthly platform expense.

What does it cost for a provider to use SALIS? There is no recurring provider subscription for maintaining a core provider presence. SALIS applies a 5% platform fee when care is completed. The fee is shared between the provider and the client. If care is not completed, the provider is not charged simply for maintaining their profile or making their services available.

Can I list my services and prices without paying every month? Yes. Providers can use their SALIS profile to present their services, service pricing in ADA, specialties, modalities, business information, and available add-on services without a recurring monthly provider subscription. Clients can then discover those offerings and begin the care-booking process through SALIS.

What happens if a client requests care but the session does not take place? The provider does not pay a SALIS platform fee simply because a client viewed a profile or began the booking process. The platform fee is tied to completed care. SALIS uses non-custodial smart-contract payment flows so eligible funds can be returned when care is not completed according to the terms of the agreement.

Do I have to replace the business tools I already use? No. Providers can continue using the websites, calendars, scheduling systems, documentation tools, or other business services that already work for their practice. For providers who need a simpler setup, a SALIS profile can also serve as a lightweight presence for presenting services, being discovered, and allowing clients to begin the care-booking process. SALIS is designed to support the provider-client relationship without requiring the provider to move their entire practice into one platform.
